Terms of Service

Fantasy Freeride is a free, fan-made fantasy game for FMB World Tour events. It is currently in beta — expect rough edges. These terms are intentionally plain-English. Read them.

The basics

What is this?

Fantasy Freeride is a free, non-commercial fantasy sports game. You pick riders before each FMB World Tour event, rank them by predicted finish, and earn points when results are published. There is no entry fee, no prize money, and no gambling.

The game is in public beta. Features will change, things will break, and we may reset data or adjust scoring without notice.

Who can use it?

Anyone. You need an account to submit picks, which requires a valid email address via Supabase Auth. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

If you are under 13, please do not create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

No guarantees

Scores and results

We do our best to pull accurate results from official FMB sources. Scores are calculated automatically once results are imported. We make no guarantee that scores are correct, complete, or final until explicitly marked as confirmed.

Once results are published and scores are locked, they are final. We will not retroactively adjust picks or recalculate scores except in cases of clear data error.

Availability

This is a hobby project. We offer no uptime guarantee. The service may go down, be slow, or behave unexpectedly — especially around event deadlines. Plan accordingly and submit your picks early.

Your data

We store your picks and scores in a Supabase database. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that your data will never be lost. Do not rely on this service to store anything important.

Your conduct

Play fair

One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to game the leaderboard. Do not share accounts.

No bots or scripted abuse

Do not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit picks, scrape data beyond normal browser use, or interact with the API in ways that could degrade performance for others.

Usernames

Keep your username appropriate. We reserve the right to change or remove usernames that are offensive, impersonate others, or violate the spirit of a community sports game.

Changes and shutdown

We can change or stop the service

We may change these terms, the scoring rules, or how the game works at any time. We may shut the service down entirely. We will try to give notice, but we are not obligated to.

Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Picks are final once results are published

Once the picks window closes for an event, your roster is locked. You cannot change picks after the deadline. Scores are finalized once official results are imported and confirmed — no appeals, no exceptions beyond clear data errors on our end.
